Unity In The Body Through Christ Jesus

Abba Father, My God, I rise to this day praising You and thanking You for the chance to begin again in You. I come into our Sacred Place, bowing before You, in the name of Jesus Christ, by the Power of the Holy Spirit who dwells in us with the acute awareness that You kept all who are alive this moment through the night, You have saved us not because of our righteousness but because of Your grace and tender mercy…Lord, thank you. I am thankful that I can be at peace because Christ himself gave us divine peace. Father, Your word tells me that the Good News of peace created unity between those who were far from You and those who were near making us one in You Through Christ himself. Now, all of us can come to You, Almighty God, our Father through the same Holy Spirit because of what Christ has done…I can never thank Him enough. Therefore, all the disunity in the world today is created by humankind's thoughts of supremacy, hate, corruption, and greed. Do they not know that the earth and everything in it belongs to You and You are in control of everything and everyone? Father, do they not know that everything is under the authority of Christ, and we all were made alive through Christ and His death and resurrection? How then do they refer to themselves as superpowers when Your power is the Sovereign Power and that which they have come from You? Have they forgotten that You created everything and everyone for Your glory? Father, I ask You in the name of Jesus Christ, that from Your glorious limitless resources You empower those who are weak with inner strength through the Spirit to walk the Path of life in Spirit and in Truth…let their faith in You increase; then Christ will make His home in all our hearts as we trust Him even more. Let us love as You love, forgive as we have been forgiven, and please, let us always look to You, Almighty God, the only one who is able to keep us as we continue this journey called life in the name of Jesus Christ, doing Your will with integrity, compassion, and love. Hallelujah! Amen!

Ephesians 2:19-22; 4:25-28 NIV: Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him, the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him, you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit. Therefore, each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body. “In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, so that they may have something to share with those in need.

Remember, “For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility.” This is the word of the Lord.
