We All Need Divine Love

Abba Father, My First Desire and Hope, My God In Whom I Trust and Who Is The Lover Of My Soul, I rise to this day with love on my mind. I know that You, Almighty God are the essence of love. The love that is given to all humanity is not an ordinary love that is appearance, wealth, selfishness, darkly rooted in lust, and gratification. Father, the love that You alone give is without conditions, without borders, without change…it is eternal. It is not like the love that so many humans profess when they say, “I love you one day and reject you on the same day if you offend them or their eyes wander.” I am acutely aware that the heart is the position of a physical and spiritual being, and represents the "fundamental wisdom of feeling as opposed to the head-wisdom of reason." It is compassion and understanding, life-giving, encouragement, and complex. It is called the seat of our emotions and is synonymous with affection. Father, Your word tells us, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it? You alone search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds.” I ask You, Lord, search us, teach us to love as You love and forgive as we have been forgiven.” Please fill each one of us with that which is necessary for us to be more like You. Please give us new hearts and put a new spirit in us…do a transplant in each one of us; so, the madness and hatred stop. Please remove the hearts of stone from our flesh and give each one of us a heart of flesh that is filled with compassion, hope, forgiveness, love, and generosity, so that we are more caring. Teach us to love and care for each other as You care for us, without conditions and false expectations. As I continue this journey called life, basking in Your glory, I feel refreshed by the warmth and tenderness of Your love which is most powerful and constant each time I meet You in our Secret Place. Your Divine love is transforming, it soothes my soul in a way that no human can describe. O Lord, I ask You in the name of Jesus Christ, to fill us with the power of divine love, so we are always able to give that pure love to others. Then we can all join in and make the world a better place for all to live for all creation and the earth. I realize I cannot pray for myself and my family without praying for everyone. Please help us and save us from ourselves, Lord. Hallelujah! Amen!
