When We Are Disobedient To God

Abba Father, My God, Adonai, My Lord, And Master, I rise to this day with an acute awareness that I belong to You, I am not my own. Therefore, all that I do is done in the name of Jesus Christ, by the power and strength of the Holy Spirit, with my mouth filled with Your praise, gratitude, and Your glory every moment I live. Every step I take and every move I make, I do so knowing You alone are the Rock of Refuge and a Sheltering Stronghold to which I abide continually because we are living in a fallen world where it seems like almost anything goes, but Agape Love and Truth. Father, I realize when we live out of Your will the portals of heaven close when we are willful and disobey Your Word. I also know that whenever anyone refuses to hear Your Word, it is the same as being disobedient, denying Your existence, or despising You. Your Word tells us: that You will visit us with panic, with wasting disease and fever that consume the eyes and make our heartache. And we shall sow our seed in vain, for our enemies shall eat it. Then, You will set Your face against us, and we shall be struck down before our enemies. Those who hate us shall rule over us, and we shall flee when none pursues us. And if in spite of this we will not listen to You, then You will discipline us again sevenfold for our sins, and You will break the pride of our power, and You will make our heavens like iron and your earth like bronze. Father, I realize, if You depart from us our enemies will defeat us in minor battles, we will suffer from hatred and rejection, and those who have servants will become servants to their servants. There are those who seem to think their immense wealth and prosperity will shield them from Your judgment and they themselves will find ways to live forever but they are either deceived or they are deceiving themselves. Money cannot buy them eternal life or life on another planet. It is just a matter of time before their pride and the strength of their wealth will be destroyed. Oh, my Lord, please, forgive us, we have indeed sinned and fallen short of Your glory. Father, I know You are aware that some say that the Old Testament does not apply, but I believe it is the foundation on which we all can stand as we thank and praise You for giving us the chance to live and never die through the Shed Blood of Jesus on the cross. I continue this journey called life in Jesus Christ’s name, with You holding my hand as I stand on Your word filled with the hope of everlasting life and guidance by Your Spirit each moment I live. Hallelujah! Amen! 2 Chronicles 7:14 ESV: If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 1 Timothy 1:8-11 ESV: Now we know that the law is good, if one uses it lawfully, understanding this, that the law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers, the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine, in accordance with the gospel of the glory of the blessed God with which I have been entrusted. This causes the portals of heaven to close in our life and your enemies to eat the fruits from our labor.” Have a glorious, victorious day in the Lord!
